About this tour

An intriguing country with a colourful history and stunning landscapes, Vietnam is a truly unique destination as you will discover on this fascinating tour. After flying to the capital Hanoi, a sightseeing tour will introduce to many of the city's highlights. You'll then travel to beautiful Halong Bay and board a traditional boat for an overnight cruise amongst the limestone peaks that rise from the sea. Next, you'll fly to the country's former capital Hue and then travel to the enchanting riverside town of Hoi An. In Ho Chi Minh City, you'll enjoy a sightseeing tour followed by a tasting at the city's first craft beer brewery. Your adventure comes to an end with a journey into the depths of the Mekong Delta, where you will see how the locals live in this fascinating part of Vietnam.

Tour Itinerary

Days 1-2: UK - Hanoi

Today you will fly to Hanoi, arriving on day two. This evening, experience a welcome dinner at KOTO Restaurant, a social enterprise that provides training to disadvantaged children.
Day 3: Hanoi

This morning you’ll tour Hanoi, Vietnam’s vibrant capital. A great way to experience this lively city is aboard cyclos – Vietnam’s answer to the rickshaw. Optional: Excursion to Hanoi’s Water Puppetry Show
Day 4: Hanoi - Halong Bay

UNESCO-listed Halong Bay is truly beautiful and today you’ll explore it in style. Board a traditional boat for an overnight cruise amongst its idyllic waters, enjoy a lovely seafood lunch and dinner both served on board.
Day 5: Halong Bay - Hue

You’ll wake to stunning views of Halong Bay, and enjoy a morning at leisure. Take part in a Tai Chi session on deck or maybe choose to sit and take in the gorgeous scenery with a coffee. Then, transfer to the airport and fly to Hue.
Day 6: Hue - Hoi An

Explore Hue this morning on an included tour of its main highlights. Take in the beauty of the Thien Mu Pagoda, which overlooks the Perfume River, and see the royal tombs of Tu Duc and Khai Dinh.
Day 7: Hoi An

Discover beautiful Hoi An on a walking tour of this ancient riverside town. Later today you will visit Oodles of Noodles - a local community project which supports disadvantaged young people by providing them with training for a career in the hospitality industry.
Day 8: Hoi An

Today you have a free day to explore Hoi An as you please. Optional: Excursion to My Son.
Day 9: Hoi An - Ho Chi Minh City

Today, fly to Ho Chi Minh City. It is a city of contrasts, where evidence of former French colonisation sits alongside the fascinating culture of a predominantly Buddhist population.
Day 10: Ho Chi Minh City

Discover the highlights of Ho Chi Minh City today. Visit the former Presidential Palace before the tour ends with a tasting at East West Brewing, the city’s first craft beer brewery. This evening, gather with your travelling companions for a farewell get-together at a local restaurant. Optional: Excursion to Cu Chi Tunnels
Day 11: Mekong Delta

Today, journey into the depths of the Mekong Delta, your first stop will be at Cai Be, where you will board a boat to cross the water before cruising through lush forest, narrow inlets and canals to a local restaurant for lunch.
Days 12-13: Ho Chi Minh City - UK

Today you’ll fly overnight back to the UK.
