With its soaring mountain peaks, vast expanse of forest, iconic wildlife and turquoise lakes, the Canadian Rockies were seemingly created for outdoor adventures and this motorhome holiday lets you explore it all. Travelling by motorhome is one of the best ways to explore Western Canada with its wide-open roads and campgrounds situated in pristine nature. Your campgrounds are booked for you in advance which allows you to relax and enjoy the epic journey. Also included in this holiday is a roadbook, an expertly curated guide written to ensure that you don't miss a thing on your journey in Western Canada.

Tour Itinerary

Day 1: UK - Calgary

On arrival in Calgary, transfer independently to your airport hotel. The rest of the day is free to explore the city.
Days 2-4: Calgary - Banff National Park

Pick up your motorhome, it’s time to leave the city behind for the great outdoors. Journey to Banff, Canada’s oldest national park, famous for its deep blue lakes and jagged mountain peaks. You will have two full days to explore.
Day 5: Banff - Radium Hot Springs

Explore Kootenay National Park and relax at Radium Hot Springs, the pools are filled with naturally heated water containing a unique blend of scentless minerals that relax the mind and rejuvenate the body!
Day 6: Radium Hot Springs - Golden

Continue travelling up the Columbia Valley. In the town of Golden, visit the Golden Skybridge, home to Canada’s highest suspension bridges.
Day 7: Golden - Lake Louise

It’s a short but scenic drive to Lake Louise as you pass through the spectacular Yoho National Park. There is plenty to see and do here, so take a canoe out on the lake or hike up to the Lake Agnes Tea House.
Days 8-9: Lake Louise - Icefields Parkway

Travel north on one of the most scenic highways in the world, the Icefields Parkway and stop at Bow Lake and Peyto Lake. Continue to the Columbia Icefield where you can ride on the Ice Explorer before stepping out on to the Glacier Skywalk.
Days 10-11: Icefields Parkway - Jasper

You have two free days in Jasper to explore the surrounding national park and its majestic scenery. We recommend an excursion to Maligne Lake and cruise to Spirit Island, an iconic vista of the Canadian Rockies with distant jagged mountains providing the perfect backdrop.
Days 12-13: Jasper - Rocky Mountain House

Journey through dense forests into the aspen parkland around Rocky Mountain House. The town has a long history dating to the 18th century with the presence of British and Canadian fur traders and many explorers in search for a passage west to the Pacific Ocean.
Days 14-15: Rocky Mountain House - Kananaskis

The Kananaskis Valley is a collection of over 10 provincial parks and wildlife reserves. Explore the valley and its forest with views towards the surrounding mountains.
Day 16: Kananaskis - Calgary - UK

Today your adventure comes to an end, return your motorhome and check in for your flight home.
